01Reading the canvas

Concept · 6 min

What Create, Library and Iris assist each do.

The canvas is split into two halves. Create is where work is made - Studio, Design, Models, Sketch to product, VTO and Video. Library is where it lands - Creations, Moodboards and Assets.

Iris assist sits above the brief box. Left on, it rewrites vague briefs into shot language before generation. Turn it off when you want your prompt passed through untouched.

02Writing a brief that renders

Recipe · 9 min

Subject, surface, light, lens - in that order.

A brief that works names four things: the subject, the surface it sits on, the quality of light, and the lens. 'Bottles and jars in daylight, sage leather on stone, soft north window, 85mm' beats three sentences of adjectives.

Start from a template chip when you are stuck. Still life, Portrait, Accessory and Beauty each pre-load a shot structure you can edit rather than invent.

03Generate, compare, keep

Walkthrough · 8 min

Using x2 batches and Creations versioning.

Set the batch count to x2 so you always have something to compare against. Every render is versioned in Creations, so nothing you generate is lost when you iterate.

Keep the winner, then re-brief from it rather than from scratch. Iteration on a kept frame converges far faster than starting over.
